License Policy

What you can and can't do with an Entitude Plugins license — written in plain English so there are no surprises.

Last updated: June 10, 2026

1. License Grant

When you purchase an Entitude Plugins product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide license to install and use the plugin on the number of WordPress sites included in your plan (1, 5 or 10 production sites).

You may use the plugin on unlimited local development and staging environments, as long as those environments are not publicly indexed or used to serve end users in production.

2. Duration & Renewals

Licenses are sold on a yearly basis and include 1 year of plugin updates and priority email support. After expiration, the plugin continues to work on already-activated sites forever — you simply stop receiving updates and support until you renew.

Yearly licenses auto-renew at a 15% discount unless you cancel before the renewal date from your account dashboard.

3. Site Activations & Transfers

Each license seat corresponds to one production site. You can move a seat between sites at any time by deactivating it in the plugin settings on the old site, then activating it on the new one.

There is no waiting period, transfer fee or cap on the number of transfers.

4. Permitted Uses

  • Use on your own sites or sites you build for clients (the client must hold the license going forward).
  • Modify the plugin source for your own use — modifications are not supported by Entitude.
  • Combine with other GPL-compatible plugins, themes and software.

5. Prohibited Uses

  • Resale, sublicensing, sharing or distribution of the plugin (or your license key) to third parties.
  • Bundling the plugin into another commercial product without a written reseller agreement.
  • Removing or obscuring Entitude copyright notices in the source code.

6. GPL & Source Code

All Entitude Plugins PHP code is licensed under the GPLv2 or later. Assets bundled with the plugin (images, fonts, JavaScript libraries) may be subject to their own licenses, as documented in each plugin.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate a license that is shared, leaked or used in violation of this policy. Where a refund is owed by law, the unused portion of the term will be refunded pro-rata.

8. Support Scope

Priority support covers installation, activation, configuration questions, bug reports and compatibility issues with WordPress, WooCommerce and supported page builders. It does not cover custom development, theme conflicts or third-party plugin issues — for those, see our Custom Development service.
